Job summary

Sun Life seeks a lead High-Net-Worth specialist to provide expert advisory on complex wealth planning and insurance solutions for HNW clients. The role partners with distribution teams, advisors, and external professionals to structure sophisticated client solutions and drive business growth.

You will guide wealth structuring, legacy planning and cross-border arrangements, coach colleagues to elevate HNW capabilities, and strengthen strategic partnerships with professional service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with focus on taxation or law, plus professional qualifications.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience, preferably in insurance/banking/finance.
• Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong insurance market.
• Overseas trust structures knowledge and experience.
• Understanding of Mainland China HNW financial, taxation, and legal needs.
• Familiarity with overseas taxation or legal systems for advisory work.
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills; strong research and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in English and Cantonese/ Mandarin.
• Well-established networks to source and develop partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of complex HNW client solutions including wealth preservation and cross-border planning.
• Act as the subject matter expert for HNW advisory and legacy planning.
• Coach and develop HNW capabilities across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen differentiated HNW propositions and partnerships.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
• Partner with distribution leaders to support client acquisition and growth.
