Job summary

FWD Group seeks a Director, Digital Platforms Delivery to lead the design, delivery and adoption of group digital platforms including FWD Cube. You will manage cross-market squads, balance innovation with reliability, and ensure scalable architectures.

The role requires deep full-stack experience, strong communication, and a track record of delivering mission-critical systems in an agile ITIL environment. Based in Hong Kong, you will drive end-to-end platform excellence across markets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Broad technical experience and interest in cloud hosting, coding and delivery practices.
• Experience managing development teams.
• Experience in ITIL and agile processes.
• Proven ability to implement or improve processes.
• Solid software development experience in large-scale systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Expertise in building secure, scalable RESTful web services.
• Experience with agile methodologies, TDD and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end digital platform delivery across key markets.
• Translate business priorities into delivery roadmaps and platform releases.
• Oversee portfolio governance, risk, and budget adherence.
• Drive agile delivery excellence with disciplined sprint planning and releases.
• Ensure platforms are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
• Coordinate design, development and deployment with business and tech teams.
• Build and lead multi-disciplinary delivery organization across engineering, product, QA, and DevOps.
• Coach senior engineering and delivery managers to raise technical acumen.
