Leapworks Limited, working with a leading global private markets investment manager, is seeking a senior Director to lead fundraising from wealth channels across Greater China. You will shape the firm's presence with banks, wealth platforms, and family offices, owning the full process from first conversation to committed capital.

Formación

• 10+ years in fundraising, wealth distribution, alternatives sales or private markets. Experience in real estate or other private markets is strongly preferred.
• A strong, active network across banks, wealth platforms and family offices in Greater China.
• A proven record of raising capital personally and winning distribution mandates.
• Deep understanding of alternative investments. Experience with open-ended (evergreen or semi-liquid) products sold through banks is a strong advantage.
• Polished presentation skills, and confidence leading investment discussions with senior bankers, advisers and principals.
• An entrepreneurial, self-driven style, suited to a growing business rather than a mature, process-heavy one.
• Fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
• Backgrounds that may suit this role include alternatives fundraising, bank-based alternatives product specialist or fund selection roles, wealth teams at alternative investment managers, and real estate investment professionals who moved into fundraising.

Responsabilidades

• Lead fundraising from wealth investors across Hong Kong and Mainland China, working with banks, brokerages, independent advisers, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
• Win and grow distribution partnerships with global and regional banks and with Chinese and Hong Kong financial institutions.
• Work with partner banks to get products approved for sale, train their relationship managers and keep sales momentum strong after launch.
• Present the firm's investment platform clearly and credibly, covering strategy, risk and return, and the merits of open-ended and closed-ended products.
• Source and arrange co-investment and direct deal opportunities for family offices and private investors.
• Work with regional and global colleagues on product, marketing, investor services and market strategy.
• Help develop the regional business plan and spot new channels and partners as the business grows.
