Job summary

RGA seeks a Director of Business Development to drive growth in Hong Kong and Singapore through Financial Solutions transactions. You will lead deal structuring, originate opportunities, and manage key client relationships across insurers and banks, coordinating with internal teams to deliver executable reinsurance solutions aligned with RGA’s governance and capital objectives.

The role requires 7+ years in life insurance or financial services with FS experience, strong English communication,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance) or related.
7+ years in life insurance, reinsurance, banking or financial services with FS transactions, pricing or capital management.
FSA qualification or equivalent.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end FS transaction structuring and execution in collaboration with Pricing, Solutions and other functions.
Identify, develop and pursue FS opportunities including block transactions and capital-efficient structures.
Build and maintain relationships with insurers, banks and financial institutions; lead client meetings and proposals.
