Job summary

Gain City Group of Companies seeks an experienced Director/Assistant Director/Senior Manager to lead the ECO business unit, overseeing end-to-end operations for a scalable e-waste collection and recycling operation. You will design processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and recruit and mentor a high-performing team to achieve efficient collection, dismantling and disposal of e-waste.

The role requires a strong background in e-waste management, leadership, and proven cost-control capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor and above degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in e-waste management.
• Proven leadership experience, building and developing high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of regulations and statutory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements.
• Strong experience in cost management and efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with the EPR Scheme for E-waste and relevant obligations.
• Ensure full compliance with regulations, standards and internal SOPs.
• Design, implement and manage a scalable model for e-waste collection and recycling.
• Lead contract negotiations and maintain relationships with key suppliers/partners.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of collectors and operations staff.
• Review processes and structures to improve efficiency and automation opportunities.
• Explore diversification opportunities like scrap metal, food waste and other recyclables.
