Job summary

We are seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to develop digital and mixed-signal chips using industry-standard ASIC tools to support power management, automotive electronics, LED lighting, networking, and charging applications. The role involves completing design and verification tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and gaining expertise in multiple design tools.

Qualifications

• Microelectronics or electrical engineering degree required.
• Experience in ASIC design or verification preferred.
• Strong English communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiar with Perl/TCL/Unix/Python scripts.

Responsibilities

• Complete the design and development of digital and mixed-signal chips, including coding, synthesis, formal verification, and STA.
• Collaborate with Analog design, TE, and applications engineers to finish tasks.
• Master one or more design tools and processes: digital simulation, synthesis, DFT, LEC, STA, etc.
• Assist with sample testing and FPGA verification.

Digital design engineers are able to design and implement digital and mixed-signal chips using advanced design methodologies and industry-standard ASIC tools. Products include a variety of mixed-signal and SoC chips for power management , automotive electronics, LED lighting, networking, and charging .

Responsibilities:

• Complete the design and development of digital and mixed-signal chips, including coding, synthesis, formal verification, and static timing analysis.
• Work closely with Analog design, TE, and application engineers to complete the tasks.
• Need to master one or more of the following design tools and processes: digital simulation, synthesis, DFT, LEC, STA, etc.
• Assist with sample testing and FPGA verification.

Requirements:

• microelectronics, electrical engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in ASIC design, verification, or related fields is preferred.
• Good reading, writing and speaking English skills and team communication skills
• Able to independently follow process rules and complete tasks to a high standard.
• Familiar with Perl/TCL/Unix/Python scripts
