Job summary

OKX is seeking a design-system engineer to advance OKDS foundations, components, and AI-ready tooling across Web, iOS, and Android. You will champion reusable patterns, tokens, and theming while partnering with designers and engineers to deliver production-ready UI that scales with the company’s crypto platform.

You will apply strong craft to ambiguous problems, prototype solutions, and drive adoption through collaboration with product teams, ensuring accessibility and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering reusable design-system components in a complex product environment.
• Strong Figma capabilities including components, variants, and libraries.
• Knowledge of tokens, theming, documentation, and contribution workflows.
• Ability to prototype, test, and refine interaction and visual behavior.
• Ability to discuss implementation constraints and APIs with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives across Foundations, Components, or Templates + AI Tooling.
• Develop and maintain foundation standards and token architecture for color, spacing, and radius.
• Design and evolve core components and reusable business components with clear naming and variants.
• Build reusable template systems and AI-guided tooling; improve AI pipeline readiness.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design intent, accessibility, and cross-platform consistency.
