About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to join our Mobile team and drive high-quality product delivery across iOS and Android. In this role, you will lead and grow a team of mobile engineers, set technical direction, and work closely with cross-functional partners to ship features that serve millions of users globally. We are actively embedding AI into how our teams build and operate and we're looking for a leader who embraces that shift and brings others along with them.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor, and develop a mobile engineering team, driving ownership and accountability across project milestones.
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance on mobile development, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Champion the adoption of AI tools and workflows across the team - from code generation and review to testing and incident analysis with a goal to raise the quality and velocity of delivery.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of mobile features and initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholders to align on goals and execute effectively.
• Serve as the go‑to technical expert for complex mobile challenges, maintaining the robustness and scalability of our applications.

What We Look For In You

• 8+ years of mobile engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a team lead or management role.
• Proven ability to lead and grow engineering teams, with strong judgement and a high level of drive.
• Solid technical expertise in iOS or Android development, with a good understanding of the broader mobile ecosystem.
• Actively uses AI tools in your engineering workflow - you don't just know about them, you've integrated them into how you and your team work.
• Strong communicator who can align cross‑functional teams and work effectively across stakeholders at different levels.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound technical and product decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice‑To‑Haves

• Experience shipping AI‑powered features in a mobile product - personalisation, intelligent search, on-device inference, or similar.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or other high‑scale consumer app environments.
• Familiarity with mobile performance optimisation at scale.
