Job summary

Canyon Metal Scaffolding Engineering Limited seeks a Design Engineer with a Civil/Structural background and HKIE eligibility. Responsibilities include leading project teams, developing designs, and ensuring structural integrity for tenders and production.

The role requires strong AutoCAD, 3D, and BIM modelling skills, plus Cantonese/English/Mandarin communication. Working hours are Mon-Fri 9:00–18:00 with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Professional holding of MHKIE preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modelling, BIM modelling, and CAD knowledge required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical project teams and contribute to business development.
• Product Design and technical submissions to ensure design specifications and structural integrity.
• Review drawings for structural calculation, product specification, schedule to support production and tendering activities.
• To conduct technical discussions on wide ranging issues confronting construction sites.
• Monitor site progresses and prepare site progress report.
• Develop 2D and 3D customized presentations and participate with the customer in finding solutions to solve technical issues and cost estimates.
• Analyze and select optimal materials to support project requirements.
• Maximize business acquisition / referral opportunities and after-sales services to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or above.
• Professional holding of MHKIE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3d modelling, BIM modelling, computer aided design knowledge.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experiences in temporary works with supplier or contractor is preferable.
• Good written & spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
• Assertive, Self-motivated, Good communication, Team player and willing to take up challenges.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Candidate with less relevant experience may be considered for the position of Design Engineer.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 18:00
