Job summary

Crypto.com in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Derivatives Trader to identify and execute opportunities across perpetual futures, options, and broader derivatives markets. You will manage portfolio risk and contribute to analytical tool development in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

The role requires 5–10 years on a leading desk, deep knowledge of pricing, hedging, and risk management, plus strong Python and Excel skills; crypto and traditional assets interest is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in quantitative field.
• 5–10 years of profitable trading on a leading desk.
• Experience building and scaling derivative trading strategies.
• Strong knowledge of derivatives pricing, hedging, risk frameworks.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills for time-sensitive decisions.
• Proficiency in Python; Excel; familiarity with C++, R, KDB+/Q.
• Interest in crypto and traditional assets.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, fast-paced with responsibility.
• Excellent communication across trading, risk, and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and monetize trading opportunities across perpetual futures, options, and derivatives markets.
• Develop and execute strategies with a focus on capital efficiency and risk-adjusted returns.
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance, Greeks exposure (delta, gamma, vega, theta), and key risk metrics on a real-time basis.
• Contribute to the development of post-trade analytical tools and dashboards to enhance decision-making.
• Diagnose and resolve trading infrastructure issues in real time.
• Investigate strategy performance anomalies and execution problems, implementing corrective measures as needed.
