Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd is seeking an Associate to join the Derivatives Client Services team in our Exchange Square offices. You will manage client enquiries, onboarding, and testing, while driving operational efficiency and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced capital markets environment.

Requirements include a university degree in finance / CS / statistics, 4+ years in finance (derivatives ops preferred), and fluency in English and Chinese with strong Excel and VBA skills.

Qualifications

• University degree or higher in finance, computer science, statistics, or a similar subject.
• 4+ years of work experience in the financial industry, with a preference for derivatives operations.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; strong Excel and VBA skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle client enquiries for Derivatives markets promptly and professionally.
• Manage daily derivatives operations including client onboarding and testing; collaborate on rollout schedules.
• Maintain client databases, billing, and website updates; identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with other teams to complete user acceptance tests.
