Job summary

HKEX is seeking a risk operations analyst to join a team covering day-to-day risk-related operations in the derivatives market. You will work under established rules and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective risk controls.

The role requires a university degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Shift is 11am–8pm; 40-hour week based in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• University degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a financial institution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily risk control operations in accordance with established rules, policies and procedures.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc risk management statistics and analysis reports to management and regulators.
• Support the rollout of new products, new policies and system enhancements.
• Handle inquiries from participants and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
