Job summary

Public Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd is seeking a Deputy Banking Projects Manager to manage non-digital banking projects from initiation to implementation. The ideal candidate will establish and review policies to enhance compliance and operational efficiency, ensuring all projects meet business and legal requirements.

The successful applicant must have a university degree in Business, Banking & Finance, or IT, with at least 5 years of project management experience in banking operations, including 3+ years at a managerial level. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Deputy Banking Projects Manager

Manage and oversee all bank-wide non-digital & non-information technology related projects (e.g. Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Plan, Deposit Protection, Data Protection, etc.) from initiation to implementation.

Establish / review the bank’s policies and guidelines, procedures, etc. for compliance and/or operational efficiency.

Ensure projects delivered meet business requirements and fulfill legal / regulatory requirements.

Attend to regulatory requirements and provide recommendations.

Qualifications: University degree holder in Business, Banking & Finance or IT related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years project management experience, preferably in banking operations, with at least 3 years at managerial level.

Initiative, independent with ability to handle multi-tasks.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
