Job summary

Jordache International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong is expanding its design team and seeks Denim & Woven Designers across Women's, Men's, and Children's divisions. We welcome candidates with 4 years of experience to Senior Designer level.

You will develop products from concept through production, create tech packs, and work with cross-functional teams and mills to bring seasonal lines to market.

Qualifications

4 years of fashion design experience or above, preferably in denim, woven apparel, or related categories.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabric, washes, trims, and product development.
Strong fashion and trend awareness with a commercial understanding of the customer.
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop and PLM systems.
Ability to create detailed technical sketches and communicate design intent clearly.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across international teams.
Experience working with US-based counterparts, brands, or retailers is a strong plus.
Additional experience with overseas factories or vendors is a plus.
English Required. Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop seasonal denim and woven collections across Women's, Men's, and/or Children's divisions.
Research and interpret seasonal trends, market direction, fabrics, washes, colors, details, and silhouettes.
Develop styles from initial concept and sketch through sampling and final production.
Create clear design tech packs including sketches, construction details, fabric, wash, trim, and color direction.
Work closely with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Wash, Fabric, and Production teams throughout the development process.
Work directly with Mills for fabric development.
Review prototypes, samples, washes, fabrics, trims, and fit development and provide clear comments and direction.
Work closely with US-based Design and Product teams, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with US market needs.
Manage multiple styles, categories, and seasonal deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

About the role

We are expanding our Hong Kong design team and looking for multiple Denim & Woven Designers across Women's, Men's, and Children's divisions. We are open to candidates with 4 years of experience through Senior Designer level. The ideal candidates are creative, trend-driven, commercially minded, and experienced in developing products from initial concept through production.

Key responsibilities
