Job summary

BIT is hiring for a Daily Risk Operations role in Hong Kong. You will monitor risk metrics, classify anomalies, and coordinate with business, engineering, and operations to drive issues to resolution.

The role also supports product and process-related tasks, including testing broker integrations and developing operating guides for new markets. We seek 1–5 years in brokerage or equities risk operations, with a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and strong English/Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative field (Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics)
• 1–5 years of full-time experience in brokerage operations or risk ops in a licensed brokerage or crypto/fintech
• Strong logic, communication skills, ability to work at pace
• Proficient in written/spoken English and Mandarin
• Experience with AI tools for daily tasks and data handling is preferred
• Experience in risk or data roles at a crypto exchange or fintech company is preferred
• Knowledge of SFO/SEC guidelines and related regulations

Responsibilities

• Execute recurring routines: stress testing, scenario analysis prep, data maintenance.
• Track daily equity positions, cash and margin; review anomalies.
• Carry out margin call follow-up per rules and issue alerts.
• Support testing for broker integrations and system features; prepare data and validate results.
• Assist post-launch equities ops: produce guides, collect feedback, onboard new markets like HK equities.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily Risk Operations (Primary)

• Perform daily risk checks per SOP; monitor key metrics and system alerts, escort and classify anomalies, route them to the right teams and follow through to closure;
• Investigate data anomalies, working with business, engineering and operations teams to identify root causes and drive issues to resolution;
• Execute recurring routines: stress testing, scenario analysis data preparation, parameter and list maintenance;
• Track daily equity account positions, cash and margin data, and review anomalies;
• Carry out margin call follow-up per established rules, including issuing alerts and tracking progress;
• Support acceptance testing for broker integrations (e.g. Longbridge) and system features, preparing test data and validating results;
• Support post-launch operations for the equities business: produce operating guides for the customer service team, collect and categorise client feedback, drive issues to resolution, and take on operations for newly onboarded markets such as Hong Kong equities.

Product & Process Support (Secondary)

• Help maintain rule documents and SOPs for risk control systems;
• Contribute to requirement discussions and help compile Product Requirement Documents (PRDs);
• Prepare test cases and participate in UAT.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline;
• 1–5 years of full-time experience in brokerage operations, equities risk operations, securities operations, or a closely related role within a licensed brokerage, securities firm, or equities trading platform;
• Clear logical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work at pace;
• Good written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• Skilled at using AI tools to support daily work and data handling is preferred;
• Experience in risk, operations or data roles at a crypto exchange or fintech company;
• Knowledge of SFO / SEC guidelines and related regulations.
