Job summary
Combuilder Pte Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Software System Engineer to support Day 2 operations, maintenance and enhancements for IT projects in a 24/7 environment.
You will rely on DevOps practices, container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and production support to ensure stability, security and reliability of mission-critical systems. Collaboration with Day 1, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and project teams is essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in software/system engineering or DevOps.
- Experience with enterprise or mission-critical systems preferred.
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide Day 2 operational support for mission-critical applications and platform services.
- Perform incident investigation, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution.
- Support production deployment activities, rollback activities, and post-deployment verification.
- Monitor system health, application performance, logs, and operational alerts.
- Collaborate with Day 1 teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and project stakeholders.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
- Participate in standby and after-office-hour support as required.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, governance and security policies.
