Job summary

The role requires strong data science expertise, bilingual English and Chinese communication, and the ability to work independently on complex data projects within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in data science, IT, engineering, statistics, business, or related disciplines; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience designing and implementing data-driven solutions with Python and SQL.
• Experience with Databricks, Cloud, or GenAI is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, independent, strategic thinker, and capable of tackling new issues.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, regular reports, and ad-hoc analyses to uncover business insights.
• Prepare presentations and translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Apply data science methods (ML, statistics, optimization, BI, automation) to solve business problems.
• Develop statistical models for customer segmentation and retention.
• Implement analytics and ML models on Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
• Gather user requirements and manage internal projects with business and IT teams.
• Ingest and integrate structured and unstructured data from internal sources.
