Job summary

PCCW Services Limited is seeking a Senior Data Engineering Manager to build and scale data infrastructure, BI, and analytics platforms for Viu, a HK-based OTT service. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of software, infrastructure, and data professionals to execute a forward-looking data strategy that leverages AI and LLMs across markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering, platforms, and leading teams.
• Degree in statistics, computer science, or related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with hands-on LLM/agentic AI in engineering.
• Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions from requirements to support.
• Strong data governance, quality, and cost-control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data delivery, data operations, and L2 enquiry support.
• Lead data engineering team, end-to-end solution ownership.
• Drive data product development leveraging AI/LLMs.
• Ensure data quality and high availability across services.
• Establish governance guidelines for cost, security, access, and performance.
• Mentor teammates and coordinate with analytics, product, and tech managers.
