Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Hong Kong is seeking a Resident Engineer (Electrical / Building Services/ Mechanical) for data centre projects. You will supervise MEP installations on-site, ensuring work meets designs, specs, safety standards and high-availability requirements.

The role requires a bachelor degree in Building Services or related field and at least 8 years of construction/site experience, including data centres; you will coordinate consultants and contractors, maintain technical records and

Qualifications

8+ years construction/site experience required.
Data centre or mission-critical facilities experience preferred.
Experience managing contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary site teams.
Strong communication and attention to detail, able to work independently on-site.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day MEP installations and construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with designs and data centre standards.
Prepare and maintain technical documents, inspection records and project reports.
Review shop drawings, method statements and technical submittals with consultants and contractors.
Ensure all MEP works adhere to contractual specifications, drawings, statements and safety requirements.
Coordinate with consultants and contractors on builders work installations and performance on site.
