Job summary

Jane Street in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Data Centre Facilities Engineer to operate and maintain our scalable infrastructure across global data centres and colocation sites. You will liaison between internal teams and external providers to ensure 100% uptime and drive data centre buildouts.

The role requires strong knowledge of MEP systems, ability to manage projects, and willingness to travel 4–6 weeks per year. Fluent English required; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management, design, commissioning, construction, maintenance or operations of mission-critical facilities.
• Experience coordinating with data centre providers and internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong communication—brief, accurate problem descriptions.
• Solid understanding of MEP components and redundancy levels.
• Familiarity with SOPs, EOPs and MOPs review and supervision.
• Ability to liaise with IT groups for build requirements.
• Flexible to work nights/weekends and travel 4–6 weeks per year.
• English fluent; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain scaling data centre and colocation facilities.

• Lead project management for build outs and fit outs of data centres.
• Assess interdependencies of data centre functions and technologies.
• Review SOPs/EOPs/MOPs and supervise maintenance activities.
