Job summary

A telecom service provider in Hong Kong is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to manage M&E facilities operations without shift duties. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Building Services or a related engineering discipline, with preferred Grade A electrical registration. Responsibilities include daily operations oversight, maintenance scheduling, and performance assurance. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Chinese, with 1-2 years' relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data centre operation or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation of M&E facilities in the data centre.
• Plan and schedule data centre operation work including maintenance.
• Handle equipment faults with maintenance vendors.
• Prepare work planning, preventive maintenance, and repairing reports.
• Perform performance surveillance and assure energy efficiency.

• Prepare and submit work planning schedule, preventive maintenance report and repairing report
• Perform data centre performance surveillance & assurance of energy efficiency

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Building Services, or any discipline in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A) is preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years' work experience in data centre operation or related areas
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
