Job summary

DayOne Data Centers HK Limited is hiring a Data Centre Cluster Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of multiple data centre facilities within a designated cluster. You will lead a team of operations and technical staff, ensuring 24/7 delivery of critical services and high uptime.

Reporting to the Campus Operations Director, you will implement policies, manage incidents, and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and upgrades to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 7–10 years of data centre operations experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure including power, cooling, and network systems.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and 24/7 operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as CDCP, CDCS or similar are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple data centres within the cluster to achieve uptime and SLA targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations and technical staff for 24/7 coverage and effective handovers.
• Plan and manage preventative and corrective maintenance with vendors to minimise downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations and site accreditations (ISMS, SOC2, PCI DSS).
• Collaborate with customer support to provide fast, professional smart hands services.
