Job summary

Octopus Holdings Limited is seeking a senior Data Architect to lead the design of a scalable analytics data platform and automation capabilities. You will work across teams to deliver data-driven solutions that power analytics, AI, and business operations in a Secured cloud environment.

The role requires deep Azure data experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and bilingual communication in English and Chinese. Join a market-leading FinTech shaping payments across Asia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related fields.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering scalable data platforms, automation solutions, or AI-enabled applications.
• Strong experience with Azure data and analytics ecosystem, including Data Factory, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Synapse, Fabric, Azure Functions, APIs, Storage, and Power BI.
• Proficient in Python (PySpark, Pandas) and SQL.
• Able to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and evolve a scalable, secure, and efficient Analytics Data Architecture to support analytics, reporting, AI, and business operations.
• Develop innovative automation solutions leveraging AI, GenAI, cloud technologies, APIs, and workflow orchestration.
• Enable self-service analytics and business process automation through reusable platforms and tools.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations across internal and external data sources.
• Drive continuous improvement of the data ecosystem by evaluating and introducing new technologies and best practices.
• Design and evolve the data architecture and data environment on analytics platform.
• Develop AI-powered and automated solutions to enable self-service analytics and business process automation.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrations, and data platforms.
• Define and govern data architecture standards, data models, and best practices.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and capabilities to enhance data and AI ecosystems.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative data solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership across data, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Support strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements
