Job summary

West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is hiring an Assistant Manager, Data Analytics Operations in Hong Kong. You will manage daily data analytics infrastructure, ensure reliable data and AI services, and coordinate with vendors to meet SLAs.

The role requires cloud expertise (Azure/AliCloud/AWS) and strong governance, plus experience in DataOps and scripting with Python/SQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business needs, support AI/ML deployments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years in data analytics platforms or enterprise data systems.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AliCloud, AWS).
• Strong understanding of data governance, security and compliance frameworks.
• Proven vendor management skills and SLAs adherence.
• Good problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of DataOps practices and scripting such as Python/SQL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Data Analytics Infrastructure and Analytics Platform.
• Monitor performance, availability and scalability of data pipelines and AI services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors to resolve issues and meet SLAs.
• Implement cloud-based data solutions and optimise storage and access.
• Ensure data governance, privacy and security compliance across analytics ops.
• Support deployment of AI/ML solutions including Copilot for automation and UX.
