Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Data Analytics and Science Manager to lead an internal team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on translating business needs into actionable analytics, and delivering scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

My client, an enterprise-size company with business across the globe, is now urgently hiring a Data Analytics and Science Maanger to lead the internal team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead data analytics initiatives by translating business requirements into actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions.
• Design and implement data-driven solutions that balance cost, capability, performance, and speed to market.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain the enterprise data platform, ensuring robust analytics capabilities that support decision-making and business process improvements.
• Define and govern data models, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, ensuring data quality, completeness, and timely execution.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend cost-effective innovations to strengthen the analytics ecosystem.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, digital teams, and IT functions to align analytics initiatives with strategic objectives.
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure an appropriate balance between data privacy, governance requirements, and business analytics needs.
• Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions to generate business value and support digital transformation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, with strong expertise in solution design, project delivery, and system integration.
• Proven ability to develop technology solutions, lead initiatives, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong experience in performing root cause analysis on data, systems, and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and answer critical business questions.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Data Factory,
• Functions, Storage, SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Logic Apps.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning and AI-driven solutions.
• Exposure to generative AI technologies and custom AI agent development using platforms such as Microsoft GPT, Qwen, Llama, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Experience in the aviation industry is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and mentoring technical teams.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure Data Analytics, Power BI, or related technologies are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Passionate about emerging technologies and continuous learning, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and methodologies.
