Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced consultant to provide data-driven analyses and project delivery for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, particularly in management consulting or predictive analytics.

Responsibilities include evaluating client databases, delivering analytics projects, and leading proposals. Proficiency in Microsoft tools and programming languages such as R and Python is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Client‑facing interaction including providing data‑driven analyses, recommendations, presentations, and advice to clients.

• Lead proposal preparation, client presentation and project delivery.

• Evaluate the current state of the client’s databases and data systems to identify database structural necessities.

• Identify new solutions to increase efficiency and performance.

• Deliver analytics projects including Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi‑Channel Attribution, Big Data Analytics, Pricing and Promotion, Trade Promotion Analytics, Customer Segmentation analytics, Markdown Optimization, machine learning operations, optimization, statistical analysis, and quantitative modelling.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree required in a related field; strong preference for fields of study in data science, AI, statistics, economics or quantitative background.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in management consulting OR minimum of 6 years of data science, advanced modelling, and predictive modelling with best use of commercial data science or machine learning platforms.

• Very strong expertise in Microsoft suite (including advanced Excel skills with embedded Pivot Tables & Macros; advanced PowerPoint usage).

• At least 5 years’ experience with predictive analytics tools which may include R, Revo R, SAS, Python, Spark.
