I. Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for pre-sales technical support for cybersecurity products and solutions in the Hong Kong region. Collaborate with the sales team to uncover customer needs, conduct technical communications, design solutions, and drive project advancement.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of customers' IT infrastructure, network architecture, and security requirements. Independently plan and design security solutions, and deliver technical proposals, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, and PoC (Proof of Concept) plans.
- Engage in technical discussions with customers' technical teams, IT managers, security teams, and project leads. Translate complex cybersecurity technologies into easily understandable business value for customers.
- Responsible for product demonstrations (Demos), technical workshops, PoC/testing validation, and pre-sales technical support for bidding and tendering.
- Conduct competitive analysis based on customer needs, compare security products and solutions from different vendors, and formulate differentiated competitive strategies.
- Assist the sales team in completing pre-sales materials such as RFPs/RFQs, Tenders, technical specifications, Compliance Matrices, and technical responses.
- Maintain communication with product, R&D, delivery, and headquarters technical teams to coordinate and resolve technical issues in customer projects, ensuring successful project implementation.
- Continuously track the cybersecurity market, technical trends, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and the APAC region to provide industry technical insights for the sales team and customers.
II. Key Technical Capabilities
Experience in one or more of the following cybersecurity domains:
- Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Web Application & API Protection (WAAP)
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Vulnerability Management
- AI Security / AI-driven Cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications: Pre-sales experience with WAF, PAM, SIEM, SOC, or cybersecurity platform products.
III. Requirements
1. Work Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT security, network, or cloud security.
- Experience working in cybersecurity vendors, System Integrators (SI), consulting firms, or enterprise security teams is preferred.
- Pre-sales experience in Hong Kong cybersecurity projects is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the security requirements of customers in Hong Kong's government, finance, telecommunications, education, and healthcare sectors is a plus.
- Possessing local customer or channel partner resources in Hong Kong is advantageous.
2. Technical Skills
- Understanding of basic network technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLS, VPN, and Routing/Switching.
- Knowledge of common web attacks and security protection technologies, including SQL Injection, XSS, Bots, API Security, etc.
- Ability to design security solutions based on customers' network and business architectures.
- Ability to independently create network topology diagrams, security architecture diagrams, and technical proposals.
- Capable of conducting product Demos, PoC testing, and technical defenses (presentations).
- Strong technical document writing and PowerPoint presentation skills.
3. Language Skills
- Cantonese: Fluent
- English: Capable of business and technical communication
- Mandarin: Good
- Able to use English for technical proposals, RFPs/Tenders, emails, and customer meetings.

IV. Preferred Qualifications
The following backgrounds will be considered significant advantages:
- Experience with cybersecurity projects in Hong Kong's government, banking, insurance, telecommunications, or public utility sectors.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong government cybersecurity standards, policies, or procurement processes.
- Familiarity with the cooperation models of large SIs / VARs / MSSPs in Hong Kong.
- Holding relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, GIAC, AWS/Azure Security, etc.
- Pre-sales experience with security products like WAF, PAM, SIEM, SOC.
- Experience with large-scale projects, RFPs/Tenders, and PoC projects.
- Existing technical relationships with local customers and channel partner resources.

An ideal candidate would possess a combination of local Hong Kong customer communication experience, strong Cantonese/English language proficiency, and a background in pre-sales for cybersecurity vendors or SIs.
