Job summary

Omnix AI based in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Chief Technology Officer to shape technology strategy and drive product delivery. You will oversee four tech lines: algorithms, software platforms, AI infrastructure, and electromechanical hardware, aligning R&D with business goals.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, build scalable AI computing infra, and guide end-to-end delivery of AI + robotics across industries, while ensuring governance, cost control, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT and infrastructure experience; 3+ years in AI/ML infra or CTO roles.
• Ability to plan and operate large-scale AI computing infra: GPU clusters and distributed training.
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure and cloud-native ML platforms.
• Proven experience building technical teams and R&D systems.
• Bilingual English/Chinese; HK-based with Cantonese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategy and product technology roadmap across AI/robotics domains.
• Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams (algorithms, software, AI infra, mechatronics, manufacturing) and establish processes.
• Plan AI infrastructure for training, fine-tuning, and edge inference (GPU clusters, cloud-native platforms).
• Deliver end-to-end AI + robotics projects in smart agriculture, livestock, manufacturing, and energy sectors; manage quality, cost, and timeline.
• Support pre-sales with technical solutions, feasibility studies, and POCs; participate in presentations and negotiations.
• Establish observability, cost governance, and security compliance for AI workloads with cross-border requirements.
• Drive globalization strategy with HK/ Shenzhen collaboration and overseas market adaptation.
