Job summary

CA CIB in Hong Kong seeks a Credit Risk Trainee to prepare credit risk reports and perform simple credit analysis for financial institutions. You will research industry and credit risk data, support portfolio reviews, and contribute to risk assessments under HKMA guidelines.

The program lasts one year with possible extension up to two years, starting Dec 2026 or Jan 2027, and requires a bachelor degree in accounting/finance with less than 12 months post-graduation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
• University graduate majoring in accounting, business administration or finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular and ad hoc statistical and analysis reports for the team and head of FSP AP.
• Conduct financial analysis of FI counterparties, CAMEL analysis, and financial statement reviews to assess creditworthiness.
• Gather external ratings from agencies (S&P, Moody's, Fitch) for the team.
• Prepare reports for FSP AP such as late rating reports, rating reviews and annual reviews.
• Track monthly NAV reports for funds and update monthly dashboards.
• Assist in ad hoc requests and reports and maintain up-to-date credit files.
• Present high-quality credit risk information to Credit Committees with consistency and objectivity.
