Job summary

Morgan Mckinley Limited on behalf of our client, a leading securities brokerage in Hong Kong, invites a senior credit risk professional to lead policy development and risk controls.

The role focuses on large financing transactions, margin financing oversight, and continuous improvement of risk frameworks, reporting, and governance. Excellent English and Chinese required; FRM/CFA preferred; degree with 6+ years in financial services.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 6+ years of experience in credit risk management in the financial services industry.
• Familiar with margin ratio model, margin lending and recovery process.
• FRM, CFA or other relevant qualifications are preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously optimise credit risk policies, procedures, and limits.
• Enhance system-based credit risk controls through ongoing review and improvement.
• Lead credit risk assessments for large-scale financing transactions and provide actionable risk recommendations to business teams.
• Review and update margin financing ratios.
• Develop and maintain high-risk client and stock lists, and monitor adverse media relating to relevant entities.
• Independently monitor and report on margin financing activities, ensuring margin-call and forced-liquidation requirements are consistently enforced.
