Job summary

HTK in Hong Kong seeks a Credit Management Manager to lead credit risk policy formulation, guide a team, and oversee receivables, ensuring timely collections and strong financial controls. Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional accounting or finance qualification preferred (CPA, HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent).
• Strong accounting and financial analysis knowledge, ability to interpret financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and evaluate financial risks.
• Minimum 10 years' solid experience, including at least 3 years in a similar capacity.
• Strong leadership, proactive, enthusiastic.
• Strong analytical mind with good interpersonal and negotiation skills; exposure to market/economic environment.
• Preferably exposure to system implementation / conversion.

Responsibilities

The Job

• To plan and take proactive actions to minimize company credit risk by formulating credit policy and setting up procedures and guidelines
• To lead a team of staff to carry out daily credit operations and accounts receivables management
• To prepare MIS reports and statistics identifying high risk accounts and to take immediate credit actions in order to minimize bad debts
• To liaise with Sales Team in resolving disputes and outstanding accounts
• To work with internal parties, such as Product Marketing and IT teams to enhance the mainframes and related systems so as to cope with the market changes and customer needs
• To identify areas of improvement and to make changes to improve the service level, and to increase productivity through office automation
• To review from time to time the internal and external environments to recommend to management an effective corporate credit policy

The Person
