Job summary

Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch is seeking a professional to support private banking credit, asset management and debt capital market bond underwriting tasks in Hong Kong.

You will conduct credit assessments, perform due diligence, and evaluate client creditworthiness, surfacing irregularities for action. • Bachelor degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• FRM is a definite plus.

Job description

• Mainly responsible in supporting Private Banking credit business, Asset Management and Debt Capital Market bond underwriting related tasks.
• Conduct credit assessments, provide comprehensive due diligence and credit analysis to evaluate client creditworthiness, surface irregularities for further actions.
• Maintenance on credit parameters in system, and participate in UAT on system development on credit related aspects
• Perform assessment on variety of applications including investment product onboarding, discretionary investment portfolio proposal, Bond underwriting proposal etc, ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and internal policies, and make reliable recommendation.
• Contribute to special tasks: participate in ad-hoc initiatives
• Bachelor Degree holder or above in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline. Holder of FRM is definitely a plus.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in private banking or wealth management, with credit underwriting experience is preferred.
• Good analytical and credit assessment skills, with sound knowledge in HKMA requirements and relevant rules.
• Good knowledge in financial products, understand embedded risk on different types of financial instrument.
• Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced working environment. Reliable , pleasant personality and positive working attitude.
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese, basic Mandarin speaking is a must.
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office application, especially Excel. Knowledge on VBA would be a definite advantage.
