Job summary

The Bank of East Asia (BEA) invites applications for a Wholesale Banking Systems Analyst to uplift customer experience, improve operational efficiency and strengthen preventive controls within the division.

You will collaborate with Project Teams, Product Managers, Marketing and frontline units to enhance BEA's digital solutions for corporate clients, define API/host-to-host features and stay abreast of FinTech trends.

Qualifications

• University degree or above is preferred.
• HKIB or equivalent professional qualifications is an advantage.
• Preferable 5 years experience in computing and system project with at least 3 years in system analysis and development in financial institutions or banking sector.
• Knowledge in Corporate Banking products and services is an advantage.
• Good understanding in system concepts and project management techniques is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Revamp, design & build up best practice for Wholesale Banking Division to uplift customer experience, enhance operation efficiency and preventive operational control.
• Collaborate with Project Teams, Product Managers, Marketing, Frontline and other relevant units to develop, review and enhance our digital solutions to our corporate customers.
• Define and propose new features for host-to-host and API banking services to meet clients' payment and cash management needs.
• Keep abreast of latest FinTech and/or Bank Core Bank system development and market trends for the study and evaluation of FinTech or IT solutions for Wholesale Banking Division.
• Conduct analysis of business process and make recommendation on system changes so that process and procedure can be streamlined and achieve work efficiency.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head of the Department/ Division.
