Contract Technical Assistant (Works Supervisor)

Place of Duty:

Contract Technical Assistant (Works Supervisor) (hereinafter referred to as CTA) shall work in the Housing Authority Headquarters or in any office of the Housing Department/Hong Kong Authority or in any site office as directed.

Duties:

Assist Contract Manager's Representative in carrying out site survey, site checking, site inspection, site tests, site measurement, records keeping and other duties as directed by the Contract manager or Contract Manager's Representative.

Qualification/Experience:

CTAs should have Certificate in Construction or Building Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University/Polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or technical institute/technical college, or equivalent;

Meet the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. 'Garde E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 2' in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

Possession of proficient skill in Word, Excel applicaition is preferred

$25,620-$37,585 per month. Salary paid will be commensurate with qualification and working experience.

Office Hours:

The normal office hours are from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. The office hours may by subject to changes to follow the general office hours of the Housing Department and to meet site programme. The CTA shall also be entitled to payments for the designated extra hours of overtime working, which fall outside the normal office hours. Further extra hours of overtime working will be paid but may by compensated by time-off-in-lieu.

Period of Employment:

On contract term (24 Months).
