Job description

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Company” or “China State Hong Kong”) started its construction business in Hong Kong in 1979. The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.

Qualification And Experience

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in either Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic / Polytechnic University or an institute of vocational education or equivalent;
• Experience in inspection of building services works is preferred;
• Possession of good knowledge in personal computer applications is preferred.

Duties

The CTA(BSS) will be seconded to the Hong Kong Housing Authority to carry out site supervision, site inspection, resolve technical and contractual problems, liaise with other parties, supervise and monitor site progress, site checking, site measurement and records keeping.

Place of Duty

Station in any HA's construction site.

Office Hours

The normal office hours are from 8:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday (may be required to perform overtime work outside office hours or on Saturday / Sundday). The office hours may be subject to change and follow the general office hours of the Housing Department.

Salary

Monthly salary from $25,115 to $40,630 according to the terms andconditions as stipulated by Housing Department subject to eligible experiencee and undertaking of extra hours of overtime working.
