Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a skilled IT professional to support iAM Smart enhancements, including UI integration, API work, and security improvements. Work will involve collaboration with government departments and external partners on new features such as AI-enabled interfaces and offline authentication.

You will gather requirements, analyze feasibility, design infrastructure, review test plans, and coordinate with outsourcing vendors for delivery and acceptance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• 4+ years in IT Application Development/Management
• Experience in system integration testing and UAT
• Experience in Android/iOS development and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of container tech and microservices
• Familiarity with PKI and IT security basics

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain IT applications and systems
• Study technical feasibility and draft initial infrastructure design

Job description

To support the design, implementation and maintenance of the iAM Smart functions and new enhancements (e.g. personal assistant, AI-enabled chatbot, commercial e-proof, offline personal code, information portal, step-up authentication, etc.) and provide support to Government departments or non-government parties for the adoption of the enhanced iAM Smart functionalities.

Duties:

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;

Collect both technical and user requirements for the new iAM Smart enhancements;

Study the technical feasibility of the new iAM Smart enhancements and create initial design of the infrastructure and application structure;

Provide support to the User Interface (UI) design of the new iAM Smart enhancements;

Liaise various parties and provide technical support for system design, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for the new iAM Smart enhancements;

To review deliverables provided by outsourcing contractors and conduct acceptance tests of the new iAM Smart enhancements;

Provide technical support for Government departments or non-government parties to adopt the enhanced iAM Smart functions;

Review the test plan and perform the testing for the new iAM Smart enhancements;

Review the load/stress plan and perform the load/stress testing for the new iAM Smart enhancements;

Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Solid working experience in system design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT application systems.

Solid working experience in performing system integration test and user acceptance test.

Solid working experience in providing technical support service to different users and clients.

Solid working experience in Android/iOS application development.

Solid working experience in RESTful API design and implementation for seamless integrations.

Good sense of analytical and problem solving skills.

Good command of English and Chinese writing skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess positive attitude with self-motivate and hard-working.

Overtime work is required when necessary.

It is an advantage for the candidate to possess the following:

Knowledge or experience on Container technology, microservices technology, Android/iOS application development, authentication / authorisation protocol standards such as OAuth or SAML;

Experience in Agentic AI, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embedding, and vector databases;

Experience in Near Field Communication;

Technical Skills:

At least 3 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management;

At least 2 years' experience in Web Services;

3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support is an advantage;

2 years' experience in Public Key Infrastructure is an advantage;

1 year's experience in IT Security is an advantage;

1 year's experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

Good coordination skills is a must;

At least 2 years' experience in vendor management;

2 years' experience in customer relations is an advantage;

Excellent written English is an advantage;

2 years' experience in managing Government projects is an advantage;

Good Putonghua is an advantage;

2 years' experience in quality assurance is an advantage;

1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services is an advantage.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
