Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Senior System Administrator - Cloud to support a note-issuing bank. You will manage the private cloud, automate operations, ensure disaster recovery, and troubleshoot complex Cloud issues.

The role requires 2+ years of Cloud system administration experience and strong cross-team collaboration. On-site, full-time contract position based in Fo Tan or Shau Kei Wan, with payroll under InfoTech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud system administration.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies and tools such as OpenShift, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Huawei HCS, MySQL and Redis.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Fluency in Chinese and English; Mandarin a plus.

• Provide 24x7 support for Cloud infrastructure systems.
• Implement and maintain Cloud automation and orchestration tools.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection for Cloud-based applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Cloud-related issues.
• Collaborate with development, security, and IT teams for secure Cloud services integration.
• Provide technical guidance and training to developers/operators on Cloud processes.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to a note-issuing bank;
• Manage and monitor the private Cloud environment, including compute, storage, and networking resources. Provide 24x7 supports for Cloud infrastructure system.
• Implement and maintain Cloud automation and orchestration tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection for critical Cloud-based applications and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development, security, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and security of Cloud services.
• Provide technical guidance and training to application developers/operators on Cloud-related processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud system administration.
• Exposure to any of the following: Red Hat OpenShift, Containers, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Huawei HCS, MySQL and Redis.
• Strong understanding of any Cloud platform with experience in major areas like compute, networking, storage, backup/recovery and virtualization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
• Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information effectively.
• Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
• Experience working with financial industry and understand the technical architecture of banking systems is preferred.
