Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is contracted to provide technical support for IT systems and websites of the EDB in Wan Chai. The role covers full-time development, maintenance, and deployment tasks with a focus on Java-based applications and security.

You will work on-site, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable IT services, technical training, and project monitoring during a 2-month contract period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in system analysis, application development and security operations.
• Strong Java development experience and knowledge of structured query language.
• Experience with government IT policies and security frameworks advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, and maintenance of IT applications.
• Develop dynamic web and enterprise applications using Java frameworks.
• Manage system deployments and configure secure remote access.
• Ensure code quality and application security; address vulnerabilities.
• Analyze systems and perform technical design for complex enhancements.
• Develop and maintain batch job applications and automated tests.
• Provide on-site IT support for workstations and training.
• Assist with website content management and project monitoring.
