Qualifications

• At least 3 years of post-qualification software development/maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 year of HK Government project experience.
• Strong written English is required.
• Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT applications for the EDB project.
• Perform system analysis, programming, testing, documentation and ongoing support.
• Design and implement enhancements; develop programs for IT systems.
• Provide technical support and be willing to work after hours if needed.
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and data analysis for decision making.
• Research emerging technologies (AI tooling, modern frameworks) to enhance web-based learning systems.
• Apply knowledge of Python, SQL/DBs, and AI orchestration tools in deployment using Docker and Git.
