Job summary

OneAsia Network Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure a Linux-centric HPC environment in Hong Kong. You will own vulnerability management, patching, threat analysis, and hardened configurations across infra and Windows Server interfaces.

You will work with networking, HPC, AI, and platform teams, gain exposure to mission-critical GPU workloads, and grow security expertise with mentoring from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a Security Engineer or related cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall policy management.
• Experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu preferred) and containerization/Kubernetes basics.
• Experience securing and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain Linux-centric enterprise infrastructure operating within an HPC environment.
• Manage the full vulnerability management lifecycle, including identification, assessment, remediation, verification, and reporting.
• Review threat intelligence reports and assess potential impact to the environment.
• Review and analyse security alerts escalated by a managed SOC and coordinate remediation activities.
• Apply security patches and fixes across infrastructure platforms and document procedures.
• Implement and validate security hardening controls across Windows Server where applicable.
• Support penetration testing engagements, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and operations teams to improve security posture.

Contract Infrastructure Security Engineer (Location: Cyberport)

We are looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to help secure one of Hong Kong's largest GPU computing environments, supporting cutting-edge Linux-based AI and High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads in a highly specialized on-premises environment.

This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world security engineering experience beyond traditional enterprise IT. You will work across Linux, Kubernetes, networking, vulnerability management, security operations, and infrastructure hardening while partnering with specialists from networking, HPC, AI, and platform engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain Linux-centric enterprise infrastructure operating within an HPC environment.

• Implement, review, and validate security hardening controls across: Windows Server.
• Support penetration testing engagements, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and operations teams to continuously improve the organization’s security posture.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a Security Engineer or related cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including:
  • Network segregation and segmentation concepts
  • Firewall policy management
• Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes fundamentals, including:
  • Nodes
  • Pods
  • Containers
• Strong Linux system administration experience, particularly with Ubuntu.
• Experience securing and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a practical, hands‑on approach to security.

Preferred Experience

• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience working with:
  • Splunk or other SIEM platforms
• Experience with Windows administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Experience supporting penetration testing and audit activities.
