Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an IT professional to implement, manage and maintain multiple application systems within the department. You will work on SA&D, system testing, implementation and integration across the SDLC, ensuring ongoing maintenance for several systems.

You will also coordinate with contractors, provide on-call support for urgent incidents, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure stable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT application development, management and maintenance.
• Experience in Structured Query Language and J2EE.
• Experience in working with government systems and government services.

Responsibilities

• Perform SA&D, implementation and integration, conduct testing, installation, design infrastructure and provide technical support across the SDLC.
• Provide ongoing maintenance support to a number of the systems.
• Manage and coordinate with contractors and related parties in supporting new projects and existing systems.
• Provide on-call support to tackle urgent system and application incidents.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Job description

To implement, manage and provide maintenance support to various projects and application systems in the department.

Duties:

• Serve contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the department;
• Perform SA&D, implementation and integration, conduct various kinds of system testing, installation, infrastructure design and technical support to various projects and systems throughout the SDLC;
• Provide on-going maintenance support to a number of the systems;
• Manage and coordinate with the contractors and related parties in supporting new projects and existing systems;
• Provide on-call support to tackle urgent system and application incidents for the supported systems;
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Requirements:

The candidate shall possess the following skills:

• Experience in IT Application Development and Management, Linux System Administration, system implementation and maintenance & support;
• Experience in Structured Query Language and J2EE;
• Experience in working with/in the Government, Management and Support of Government Systems & Service;

The candidate with the following skills is preferred:

• Experience in Project Management, IT Procurement, vendor management;
• Security checking is required.
