Job summary

Equinix is the world's digital infrastructure company, operating 240+ data centers and connecting customers to leading clouds and networks. This role plans and directs day-to-day operations and strategic direction of complex construction projects while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities include leading capital projects with external vendors (GCs, design teams, commissioning agents), managing contracts and cost forecasts, and contributing to policy development and training programs

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in project and construction management preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages a capital projects.
• Provides guidance and project leadership including ground up construction, remodels, renovations, infrastructure upgrades and replacement.
• Directs multiple external vendors per project comprising General Contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
• Contributes to identifying and developing training programs.
• Executes effective contract administration procedures including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentation.
• Contributes to mentoring junior team members and directing all internal and external project team members to resolve complex matters.
• Contributes to creating and maintaining best in class policies and procedures.
