Aon Services Hong Kong is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the Head of Compliance for Hong Kong and Macau. You will help maintain and enhance the compliance framework across the region, covering regulatory compliance, AML/CFT matters, reporting, licensing, monitoring and investigations.
This role involves drafting policies, delivering training, conducting third-party reviews, and handling queries from regulators and business stakeholders.

What the day will look like
The Compliance Officer will support the Head of Compliance, Hong Kong & Macau in maintaining and enhancing the compliance framework across Hong Kong and Macau. The role will assist with regulatory compliance, AML/CFT matters, regulatory reporting, licensing, compliance monitoring, investigations, training, and compliance projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Hong Kong and Macau Compliance function in day-to-day compliance matters.
Monitor regulatory developments and assist in implementing new regulatory requirements.
Prepare compliance policies, procedures, guidance and training materials.
Conduct compliance training and promote compliance awareness.
Prepare regulatory reports, filings and submissions to relevant regulators, including the IA, MPFA, SFC and Macau regulators.Support licensing administration and regulatory notifications.
Conduct Third Party reviews, due diligence reviews and ongoing compliance monitoring activities.
Review AML/CFT escalations, adverse media findings and other compliance alerts.
Assist in investigations relating to regulatory breaches, staff misconduct and E&O matters.
Handle compliance queries from business stakeholders, regulators and auditors.
Support compliance projects, regulatory reviews and ad hoc initiatives undertaken by the Hong Kong, Macau and Regional Compliance teams.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in compliance, legal, risk management, audit or financial services preferred.
Knowledge of Hong Kong and/or Macau regulatory requirements would be an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Good command of English and Chinese (verbal and written)
