The role focuses on monitoring and managing compliance risks, liaising with authorities, and delivering training to internal stakeholders, with emphasis on HK PDPO, GDPR, and Chinese privacy laws.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified legal professional with a focus on data protection
• Experience developing or enhancing compliance programmes and training
• Strong knowledge of HK PDPO, GDPR and Chinese privacy laws (a plus)
• Experience in a fast-paced and agile corporate environment
• Sole contributor, multi-tasker, self-starter and team player
• Logical, commercially minded, proactive and adaptable; comfortable with ambiguity
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Monitor, assess and manage compliance risks, identify emerging issues, support remediation actions and escalate material matters
• Liaise with judicial, regulatory or law enforcement authorities as needed
• Design and deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders
• Collect, analyse and report compliance data

Provide sound & pragmatic advice, and strengthen compliance programmes, focusing on:

• Data protection
• Anti-bribery & anti-corruption
• Anti-trust/competition
• Trade and OFAC sanctions
• Monitor, assess and manage compliance risks, including identifying emerging issues, supporting remediation actions and escalating material matters where appropriate
• Liaise with judicial, regulatory or law enforcement authorities as needed
• Design and deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders
• Collect, analyse and report compliance data
