Morgan Mckinley Limited is seeking a Payroll & Remuneration Operations professional to coordinate, process, and reconcile payroll for regional markets (primarily Singapore) with external vendors.

The role also covers GL postings, balance sheet substantiation, and internal control, along with employer tax filings and regulatory reporting to authorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience in individual income tax, mobility/international assignment services (IAS), or advisory services from a Big 4 firm, or hands-on payroll/accounting experience.
  • Strong foundation in individual tax, salary tax, and employee benefit structures.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with Oracle Cloud Payroll or similar enterprise systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, process, and reconcile payroll information for assigned regional markets (primarily Singapore) working closely with external vendors and payroll agencies.
  • Post GL entries, perform account substantiation, reconcile balance sheets, and ensure strict internal financial control standards.
  • Handle employer tax filings and individual income tax reporting, liaising directly with statutory bodies (e.g., IRAS, HKIRD) with external vendor support.
  • Partner closely with internal teams including Human Capital Management (HCM), Corporate Tax, Legal Entity Control, and Treasury.
  • Serve as a direct point of contact for employee payroll, tax, and remuneration queries.
  • Support new pay entity setups, tax effectiveness initiatives, benefit programs, and ongoing cloud/ERP system integration (Oracle Cloud Payroll).

Soft Skills: High control mindset, meticulous attention to detail, strong self-starter attitude, and effective communication skills to handle employee enquiries directly.

Languages: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
