The Law Society of Hong Kong invites applications from energetic professionals to join the Communications & External Affairs and Member Services Department as an Officer. The role covers event management, external communications, and supporting member services.

You will coordinate with PR agencies, draft meeting papers, assist with funding schemes, and develop new digital tools while working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in event management, communications, research, media/publication or member services.
• Independent and a good team player with strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).
• Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the organisation of functions, activities, classes, seminars, webinars, receptions and other functions of the Department.
• Work with external parties including PR agencies and other service providers.
• Arrange and participate in meetings of committees; draft agenda, papers and minutes.
• Assist in government funding schemes, budgets, reports and proposals.
• Conduct research on legal topics to support departmental work.
• Prepare communication materials such as speeches, presentations and publicity content.
• Handle enquiries from members and support member engagement initiatives.
• Assist in development of new mobile apps and IT-related projects.
• Support IT-related projects and advance interests of members.
