Job summary

Jia Group Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Commis Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. You will work in an open, skill-focused environment where quality and teamwork come first, focusing on authentic Italian flavors and high standards.

This role offers hands-on training, exposure to busy shifts, and opportunities to grow your culinary skills in a friendly, fast-paced restaurant setting. English and Cantonese communication are required, and previous Western/Italian kitchen experience

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate required. Culinary school preferred.
• Relevant experience in a Western or Italian kitchen
• Passion for cooking and willingness to learn
• A high level of energy and a good team player
• Confident in running busy shifts
• English and Chinese (Cantonese) communication required

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and dishes to ensure they are prepared to the correct recipes and quality

• Ensure all food products are produced in a professional manner and meet the company quality standard
• Maintain a good quality of the cuisine

What we are looking for:

Working hours:

55 working hours per week (excluding meal breaks), scheduled over 5 days on a rotating roster. Meal breaks are arranged according to operational needs and company policy.
