Job summary

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Commis to join the Kitchen team. Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, you will assist the department head with daily kitchen operations, ensure cleanliness, and support mise-en-place activities.

Ideal candidates have a culinary background or relevant work experience, a positive mindset, and good spoken English and Chinese. The role offers development opportunities and a supportive work environment within MO’s premium standards.

Qualifications

• With relevant culinary academic background or work experience.
• Willing to learn with positive mindset.
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the day-to-day operational procedures in the kitchen.
• Be Responsible for mise-en-place preparation.
• Ensure neatness and cleanliness of refrigerators and service area.
• Maintain good relations with other sections for distribution of workload.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time.
