Job summary

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Commisto join our Kitchen team. Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, the Commis assists the department head with daily kitchen tasks and maintains hygiene standards. A culinary background and willingness to learn are essential.

Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred. This role offers development opportunities within a luxury hospitality group and exposure to premium dining operations in a prestigious property.

Qualifications

• Relevant culinary academic background or work experience.
• Willing to learn with a positive mindset.
• Good command of English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of day-to-day operations in the kitchen.
• Be responsible for mise-en-place preparation.
• Ensure neatness and cleanliness of refrigerators and service areas.
• Maintain good relations with other sections for workload distribution.
• Perform any other duties as required by the department head.
