Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an Associate in Collateral Management Operations to manage daily margin calls, reconciliations and client reporting for capital markets transactions.

You will liaise with counterparties, monitor settlements, investigate discrepancies and collaborate with Front Office, Risk and Treasury to support collateral processes.

A degree in Finance or related field plus 4+ years of experience is required.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of the banking/financial services industry.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily margin call activities for OTC derivatives, repo, and equity finance products.
• Liaise with counterparties to negotiate disputes and resolve valuation differences.
• Monitor collateral settlements and ensure timely cash and securities movements.
• Perform collateral reconciliations and follow up on outstanding margin calls and aged balances.
• Partner with Front Office, Risk, Treasury and external clients to support collateral processes.
